NEEZO returned to live television during an NBA G League broadcast, marking another TV interview in recent months following our appearance on CBS.

At halftime of the Raptors 905 vs Birmingham Squadron game (January 11th, 2026) at Legacy Arena in Birmingham, Alabama, I was interviewed live on TV to discuss NEEZO Studios, our partnership with the Birmingham Squadron, and the significance of NEEZO presenting this game.

Sharing the NEEZO Story on a National Sports Broadcast

Being interviewed live during an NBA G League game provided a powerful opportunity to share the NEEZO story with a broader audience.

The conversation focused on:

Dino Night, presented by NEEZO Studios, brought Raptors 905 vs Birmingham Squadron to life at Legacy Arena in Birmingham, Alabama during an unforgettable NBA G League matchup.

From arena-wide animations to a live halftime TV interview and a custom-designed giveaway shirt, this night was a full-scale creative experience, and one that felt especially meaningful for me and for our team at NEEZO.

As a studio with offices in Birmingham and Toronto, presenting a game that featured Raptors 905 while taking place in Birmingham felt like a true full-circle moment.

Why Presenting Dino Night Mattered to NEEZO

Presenting Dino Night wasn’t just about putting our name on the game, it was about shaping the experience.

The Dino Night theme was inspired by the Raptors mascot, and our role was to help bring that theme to life in a way that felt immersive, energetic, and memorable for fans in the arena. From the moment doors opened to the final buzzer, NEEZO’s creative work was woven throughout the night.

Hosting the game at Legacy Arena in Birmingham made it even more special. While our Toronto office (and NEEZO being founded in Toronto) has a natural connection to Raptors 905, our Birmingham team was on-site experiencing the energy in real time, a reminder of how our two offices come together on projects like this.

Arena-Wide Animations That Set the Tone

One of the most exciting parts of the night was seeing NEEZO’s animations playing across all screens throughout Legacy Arena.

These weren’t just background visuals, they were designed to enhance the Dino Night theme and amplify the game-day atmosphere. Seeing our animation work surround the court, react to the energy of the crowd, and become part of the live experience is always a powerful moment.

Designing the Dino Night Giveaway Shirt

Another highlight of the night was the custom Dino Night giveaway shirt designed by NEEZO Studios.

The goal was to create something fun, bold, and instantly tied to the theme of the night. Watching fans put on the shirts and wear them throughout the game , and beyond, is one of those reminders of how physical design creates lasting connections.

For me, this is what experiential branding is all about: creating something tangible that fans associate with a moment they’ll remember.

A Live Halftime TV Interview

During halftime, I had the opportunity to take part in a live TV interview to talk about NEEZO Studios, our partnership with the Squadron, and why this game night was so significant to us.

Live broadcasts always bring their own energy, but it was a great opportunity to share the creative thinking behind the night and highlight the collaboration that made it possible. Representing NEEZO during a live NBA G League broadcast, in a city where one of our offices is based, was a proud moment for sure.

It’s important to me that we don’t just create the work, but that we also confidently stand behind it and tell the story.

While our Birmingham team experienced the night in person at Legacy Arena, our Toronto office followed along closely, celebrating the work and the impact together.

Moments like this are a reminder of how powerful collaboration can be, even across cities (and countries).
